Open Office Hours
Bring a real question about your home, a parent's home, or your business. Camera off is fine.
Get the Zoom linkA members' network of local service pros you can get to know, people you can ask, and plain-English rooms to learn in. For the home you own or rent, and for the parent whose home you're quietly keeping up.
One form. A real person reads every request and replies with next steps. Sending it doesn't charge you.
Why a network, not another list
You can find a hundred names for "handyman" in a minute. What's hard is knowing who your neighbors would let into their parent's home, and having someone to ask first. That's what this is.
Ask in Open Office Hours. A person, not an algorithm, introduces you to providers in the network who serve your ZIP. You decide.
Free Open Office Hours three afternoons a week, plus workshops for families and homeowners in plain English.
Providers sign the Provider Pledge, show us their license and insurance where their work needs it, and follow our privacy rules.
What members ask about
Most questions start small: a loose railing, a parent who won't use the upstairs shower anymore, a list of jobs nobody gets to. Whether you own or rent, bring them to the room.
Ramps, grab bars, railings, wall-mounted parallel bars, better lighting, a walk-in shower. Meet local pros who install them.
What a parent needs is a decision for them and their doctor or care team. We help with the home and the people who build it.
Handyman lists, licensed plumbing, electrical and HVAC, window and power washing, junk removal, holiday lights.
For the adult kids keeping a parent's house running, often from a distance: organize the to-do list, find non-medical in-home help, and learn the tech that keeps the family in the loop.
Meet insurance agents and accountants in the network for the questions homeowners ask. Pure Expertz itself doesn't give insurance, tax or financial advice.
Ask about multi-generational living and the ADU process in your village. Education in the room, not legal or zoning advice. Your village has the final word on permits.

Straight answers
Providers go through the listing steps described on our providers page: the Provider Pledge, identity and registered-business verification, and a look at the license and insurance their work requires. Each profile shows what we saw and when. That is a screening step, not an endorsement, warranty or guarantee, so please ask for licenses, insurance and a written estimate too.
Yes. Renters join the same way and can ask about anything in Open Office Hours. For changes to the home itself, check your lease and get your landlord's OK first. We can help you know what to ask.
The provider, directly. Pure Expertz is not a party to the job. Your Forum ticket covers Open Office Hours, where introductions happen, and the community.
We can introduce you to people who install them and answer questions about the house. What a parent needs (equipment, therapy, care) is a decision for them and their doctor or care team. We don't give medical advice.
